Economic Development 101 - EDCD can work with your community to educate and inform members on what economic development is, provide orientation to the various models of economic development, show how economic development can be established or enhanced, and how to assess and analyze competitive advantages and target markets.
Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan - We can work with you to create a detailed strategic plan including a community analysis, marketing plan and first-year implementation action plan.
Shop Local Program - This program includes delivery of a workshop for local retailers on the benefits of a shop local program, and development of a shop local program customized to the needs of your community.
Community/Stakeholder Facilitation - We work with individual communities to help them understand their specific strengths and weaknesses and provide recommendations for diversified and sustainable economic development.
Foreign Direct Investment Missions - EDCD works with communities to coordinate Trade Missions to foreign markets participating in these missions if required.
Business Retention and Expansion Programs - We work with communities and Regions to develop comprehensive Business Retention and Expansion programs.
